Borås Cotton x Emma Harling, 2025

In her debut collection for Borås Cotton, Emma Harling has designed three printed cotton fabrics featuring graphic, hand drawn patterns inspired by everyday observations from her daily life in New York. These straightforward and versatile fabrics made from OEKO-TEX certified cotton are intended to be effortlessly mixed and matched, offering visual interest and functionality to drapes and accessories.

Borås Cotton, a renowned Swedish textile house established in the 1870s, is known for its superior quality textiles featuring timeless and distinctive designs conceived by some of the most influential designers in Swedish textile history, such as Sven Fristedt, Lisa Larson, and Göta Trädgårdh. Their design philosophy, ”Art on Fabric”, prioritizes the creative freedom of talented designers. Borås fabrics were first introduced to the American market by Jack Lenor Larsen in the 1970s and are included in museum collections across the country.
