Quilt I, 2025

Deadstock cotton fabric, cotton battting

53 x 53 inches / 135 x 135 cm

This quilt is pieced together from deadstock fabric and finished with hand stitching. The geometric composition in navy, sage and gray plays with both contrasting and subtle variations in color.

The restrained motif takes cues from minimalist art, as well as Amish and Swedish quilting traditions.

Quilt I was exhibitied at Tangent, a group show during NYCxDesign 2025.
